Dreamscapes: Unleashing the Boundless Imagination

Sometimes, the mind goes off track from the regular routes of the same old soups to unrealistic ones. In a way, it is good for us to keep ourselves thinking out of the box but this time, it's completely ventured out of the world.

It sounds funny, but it's a dream. Just like many other times before yesterday, I had dreams of intermitted flying on my own, holding myself up in the air. For some time, I thought it must be some movie effect that lasted in my subconscious mind and turned me into Superman.

But when I opened my eyes, I was again taken aback by the familiar realization that I had been reliving the only recurring dream of my childhood. As usual, I checked on Google “What is the meaning behind intermitted flying on our own in a dream” which eventually off-tracked me but also levitated my imagination to another level.

Now, I would like to know the possibility of intermittent flying capability of humans.

According to our common awareness, the Human body burns the food we eat turned into energy which is later consumed by our thinking, refreshing and day-to-day physical and digital activities.

What else can humans do with its energy?

Human is one of the amazing creatures among many others on Earth who can translate their energies. Let’s understand it better.

According to scientific research,

  1. Hummingbirds fuel their rapid wingbeats, flapping up to 80 times per second, by consuming large amounts of nectar, enabling them to hover and maneuver precisely.

  2. Electric eels generate electric fields using electrolytes to produce high-voltage shocks for stunning prey or defense.

  3. Bombardier beetles create a chemical reaction in their abdomen to eject a hot, noxious spray that deters predators with an audible pop.

  4. Bees convert nectar and pollen into energy for flight, honey production, and maintaining hive temperature and brood care.

  5. Cheetahs use stored energy in their muscles to reach speeds of 60–70 mph in short sprints to catch prey.

When it comes to Human, we have the remarkable ability to transform energy into various activities.

  1. Physical activities such as exercise, walking, and daily tasks are powered by metabolizing food to produce energy.

  2. Mental activities like thinking, problem-solving, and learning are fueled by glucose, which the brain uses to perform cognitive processes.

  3. Through metabolic processes, the body generates heat to maintain a stable internal temperature, ensuring efficient bodily functions.

  4. Emotional responses are regulated by neurotransmitters and hormones, which manage stress and emotions.

  5. Creativity and innovation are driven by cognitive and emotional engagement, leading to the production of art, music, and inventions.

  6. Additionally, psychological and emotional energy are vital for social interactions, communication, relationships, and collaboration. This versatility in energy transformation highlights the unique and complex capabilities of humans.

What else is left?

  1. Can humans use the energy produced by the body to lift themself for shorter periods?

  2. Can human energy create a cocoon that could balance the Earth's gravitational pull for a short time?

Well, theoretically, there is the possibility that Humans can play with its energy but the question is how to do it. According to Elephant Journal, In the practice of yoga, it is believed that certain yoga and meditation masters possess special powers known as “siddhis,” which enable them to levitate at will. The ability to levitate is referred to in Sanskrit as “dardura siddhi,” meaning the frog power, as some frogs can jump and appear to suspend themselves in the air.

There are numerous witnessed accounts and firsthand stories of esteemed yogis levitating, achieved through deep meditation and advanced yoga practices. Notable references to such occurrences can be found in the books “Autobiography of a Yogi” by Yogananda and “Living with the Himalayan Masters” by Swami Rama, where accounts of yogis levitating are documented.

If we try to solve it through science, then possibly we can prove the hypotheses of my dream.

No matter how strong I feel about my imagination that I can be like frogs who can jump and appear to be suspended in the air, but my mom will never accept it. Of course, no mom would like their child to be a fly frog but the question of metaphysics will be solved by unfolding the capability of human beings scientifically.
